So, it’s my zone birthday, (one year on the site, woo hoo!) so I thought I’d post the stupid poem that gave me my username. I wrote it in my head, so it’s not as flowing as my other stuff.
Hear the dreamer calling
In craved agony, her death is life.
Never waking to dance on air,
There she lies beneath your captivated stare.
See the poet’s dark words
And know the pain that clouds her eyes.
Alone she falls, never once fearing,
Till all that remains is a tear in the night.
Silent falls the singer
With breath of night, she can’t even scream.
Once in song, she lived a lie,
And at dawn’s first light fades a haunting melody.
Sing these words and parish.
Sleep and dream, your time will come.
